You: R&D Engineer
You will strengthen our Medical R&D team. You will participate in the development of fiber polymer composite manufacturing technologies, evaluate and introduce new methods and solutions to complete the path from material to product. The position requires a good understanding of material processing and the related equipment. You cooperate with other personnel and departments who will contribute to your R&D work and are depending on your input.

To be successful in this position, you should have:
- Sc. or B.Sc. degree either in materials science, polymer engineering, biomaterials engineering, or similar education and materials processing background in the field of science and engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in research and development in the area of materials and production
- Experience in machining, manufacturing, 3D design is desired.
- Good understanding of material analysis (chemical & structural, mechanical)
- Analytical and structured approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Knowledge of working in a regulated industry, like a medical device industry, is an advantage
- Creative problem-solving skills, interpret and accurately report results and draw conclusions
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills, both spoken and written
